2. Services Description
Sea Air Cargo Systems provides freight forwarding, customs clearance, logistics coordination, and related consulting services. We act as an agent on behalf of our clients to arrange transportation and customs processing.
3. Client Obligations
You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding shipments, including proper descriptions, values, and classifications. You are responsible for ensuring that your goods comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including export/import licences and product certifications.
4. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are valid for the period specified and are subject to change based on fuel surcharges, currency fluctuations, carrier rate changes, and customs duty adjustments. Final charges are based on actual weights, dimensions, and services rendered.
5. Liability
Our liability is limited as per the terms of the carriage contract with the underlying carrier and applicable international conventions (Warsaw/Montreal Convention for air, Hague-Visby Rules for sea). We recommend clients obtain adequate cargo insurance for high-value shipments.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due as specified in our invoice, typically within 7 days of shipment booking or upon cargo arrival for imports. Late payments may incur interest charges at 1.5% per month.
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, strikes, government actions, pandemics, or carrier failures.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
